Hero Motors Shutter Southeast Asian Markets

Hero Honda Hero soon change its name to Moto for separation Hero Group and Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India

After the formal split with Honda, Hero Motors is committed to expanding markets of Southeast Asia, following the other Indian brands, such as Bajaj and TVS. Hero Motors now has complete freedom in determining business strategy, including exploring the global market.

The way the Hero "goes global" is exporting the product (CBU) or building assembly centers in certain areas. Other countries which become the target Hero is Africa and South America.

Anil Dua as Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales Hero Motors said, "Now we want to become a global player. We will build on the overseas operations and planned activities of the assembly there."
